Dr. Jacob Christenson is Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner of Radix Recovery, where he leads organizational vision, clinical strategy, and program development. With more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, he brings deep expertise in addiction treatment, family systems therapy, and complex mental health conditions. He is also the Founder of Covenant Family Solutions, a multi-location mental health services organization, where he previously led clinical expansion and program innovation before moving to full time with Radix.

Dr. Christenson earned his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University. He is an approved clinical supervisor in Iowa and has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed journal articles, along with additional publications focused on therapeutic practice and family systems work.

His clinical specialties include substance and behavioral addictions, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adolescent behavioral challenges, parenting, marital distress, and chronic illness. At Radix Recovery, he integrates evidence-based treatment, structured family involvement, and disciplined operational leadership to build programs designed for long-term recovery outcomes.
